What to expect ?
You will be exploring the ancient Buddhist heritage, Arts, Crafts, Old ashoka pillar, Maya devi temple, etc.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu TIA Airport,
We will receive you at TIA airport. After our meetup, we will transfer you to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Kathmandu-Lumbini
So, this day will bring an excellent sight of windy glares on your way because after having Breakfast you will head towards Lumbini. It will take you around 7-8 hours of a drive along the historic Prithivi Highway to reach Lumbini. Hence, you will get a warm welcome at the hotel by our correspondence before the overnight stay.
Day 3: Visit Lumbini Drive to Janakpur
This day you will be doing the sightseeing of holy Lumbini areas. But initially, you will have some breakfast before kicking off. So, here in Lumbini, you will be exploring the birthplace of Lord Buddha. You will see various ancient arts architecture, heritages related to Lord Buddha. Similarly, you will be exploring Ashoka Pillar, Mayadevi Temple, Bodhi tree Lord Buddha used to meditate, Lumbini Museum, etc. Thus, with great sightseeing in Lumbini world heritage areas, you will be heading towards Janakpur on a private vehicle. It will take us around 8-9 hours to reach Janakpur where you will stay overnight.
Day 4: Visit Janakpur
This day you will visit the birthplace of goddess Sita. So, after the initial Breakfast, you will be heading towards the sightseeing of the fabulous Janakpur temple. Here you will be exploring Janaki Temple, traditional Mithila arts, crafts, architectures and ancient heritages of King Janak. Similarly, you can visit the current Mithila market near Janakpur for exploration of classical paintings, works, local products, etc. Hence you will be staying overnight at the hotel in Janakpur for the next day's return to Kathmandu.
Day 5: Janakpur-Kathmandu
Now with the great memories of Lumbini and Janakpur, you will be heading towards the natural setting of beautiful Kathmandu valley. It will take about 6-7 hours of drive to reach Kathmandu. Hence along the way, you will see high hills, mountains, rivers, local villages, and many other natural as well as traditional aspects.
So, you will be staying overnight at Kathmandu for departure the next day.
Day 6: Departure
We will guide you towards your onward destination based on your location. If you have an international schedule, then we will guide you towards the airport.
