About Trip:
Upper Mustang Heli Tour is the quickest tour to the forbidden Kingdom of Mustang located closer to the Tibetan border. The chartered helicopter flies over the natural wonder of Nepal, the Pokhara Valley and way past the popular Annapurna massifs. Mustang is located towards the northern section of the Annapurna region starting from Kagbeni. The landscape of Mustang is similar to the Tibetan plateau being on the border of Tibet. The lifestyles of the people in Mustang also highly resemble those of the Tibetans. Lo-Manthang is the kingdom of Mustang and is an age-old walled city.
The tour begins with driving to the domestic airport in Kathmandu and flies onboard a chartered helicopter towards the magical land of Upper Mustang. Coming closer to Upper Mustang, witness majestic views of the snow-capped peaks of Mt. Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Upon landing at Lo-Manthang, you will spend some time here capturing the magical moments and visit some of the ancient monasteries. It’s a different world inside this walled city with finely carved wooden pillars, images of Buddhist deities, giant lookout towers. Afterward, fly back to Kathmandu witnessing spectacular aerial view of the Kathmandu Valley.

Day 01: Helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Lo-Manthang, Upper Mustang then fly back to Kathmandu
Helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara & fly to Jomsom. Then fly again to the walled city of Lo-Manthang in the Upper Mustang region. Explore around and visit monasteries in Lo-Manthang then fly to Kathmandu and transfer back to your hotel. (5 hours)

Tour Availability
We operate the Upper Mustang Helicopter Tour privately daily so that you don’t have to confront with other people who might have different interests or attitudes.
Vehicle
We use comfortable car/mini-van for the transfers to/from hotel to airport and back. (For up to 2 people, a car is provided and mini-van is for the group 3 & above)
Tour duration
The tour duration is 5 hours (Approx.)
Clothing
Clothing varies with the type of tour and season. It’s warm in Kathmandu from April to October-end and from November to March-end, days are usually warm but evening colder. Summer clothes are okay during the day time but the evening requires light jackets. Winter is from December till February so bring along sufficient winter wears like jackets, sweaters, trousers, etc. Or you can purchase clothes of your choice in Kathmandu clothing stores too.
