- Meet up at Kathmandu and head towards Patan industrial areas for industrial sightseeing. In Patan industrial area you can discover ancient handicraft businesses, garment industries, metal industries, and many small scale industries. Here you can observe and acquire many technical skills for skilled local workers. In addition to that, you can buy many handicrafts, arts, monuments, and merchandise from Patan Industrial Areas.
- Similarly, the Tibetan refugee camp in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, which is near to Patan industrial area, is another option. In the Tibetan refugee camp, you can buy several handicrafts, Tibetan statues and interact with Tibetan peoples.
