Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport - (1360m.) 

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you shall meet our representative at the airport and then transfer to the hotel. 

Overnight in Kathmandu.

 

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

If you wish to comprehend Nepal’s historical and cultural values, sightseeing in Kathmandu valley is crucial. Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, is a popular destination for tourists. This city offers a marvelous combination of mix religion of Hinduism, Buddhism, and some foreign culture. Kathmandu carries the cultural and religious legacy that can be seen at temples, monuments, and artifacts. Patan and Bhaktapur are neighbor cities which reflects a similar legacy. In the half-day tour, you visit Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath stupa. Pashupatinath is a Hindu Shrine where people worship Lord Shiva whereas Boudhanath is the biggest stupa of Nepal.  For the rest of the day, we will prepare for the trek. You can buy your missing equipment for your trek.

Day 03: Drive to Khudi (800m/2624ft) 7-8 hrs 

Our journey commences with seven to eight hours drive from Kathmandu to Khudi following Trishuli watercourse. On the way, we can enjoy the beauty of terraced farms and delightful huts. Once reaching a junction at Mugling, we take straight ahead towards Pokhara. At Dumre, we leave the previous path and head north towards Besisahar. Half-an-hour’s drive from Besisahar takes us to Khudi, the starting point of our trek. Khudi offers first glimpses of the dazzling Manaslu.

Day 04: Trek to Sirung (2200m/7217ft) 6-7 hrs

This is our first day of the trek. After breakfast, we will cross a couple of suspension bridges and pass by waterfalls on a mostly downhill trail. Initially, the walk is steady, but then it is followed by vessel trails. The mountains appear much closer as we reach the Sirung village. Idyllic close-up views of Ngadi Chuli and Manaslu mountains from Sirung is a blessing.

Day 05: Trek to Jagat (1300m/4265ft) 6-7 hrs

After breakfast, we will start our day trek from Sirung to Jagat which is a quite easy section. We leave behind the terraces of the village and hit forests, ferns, and solid ground. On the forest path, we often spot a range of birds. We encounter many hidden villages and a couple of temples on the way along with a bridge over Sangu Khola and Marshyangdi rivers. We will cross the bridge over Sangu Khola and Marshyangdi and spend the night in Jagat.

Day 06: Trek to Dharapani (1960m/ 6430ft) 7-8 hrs 

After breakfast, the path from Jagat descends to the river and continues through the abundant forest nearby. After a few hours of Nepal, the sharp rock face by the riverbank – Chyamje comes into the picture along with the fantastic views of majestic Annapurna mountain range. Once crossing a bridge, we climb steeply towards the slippery and difficult path to the steeply-forested village of Karte. Winding on the waterfalls and cliffs, we finally reach Dharapani after crossing a bridge.

Day 07: Trek to Chame (2710m/8891) 5-6 hrs 

Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2675m.) takes 5 -6 hours. As you chop through a slender field from the village, you will meet the Dudh Khola that originates from the south face of Manaslu. The continued climb through the forests of pine and oak lead us to Danaque (2210m.). The path goes all the way quite flat until we reach Chame. Chame has square measure government offices, outlets, and hotels.

Day 08: Trek to Pisang 3300m/10826) 5-6 hrs 

Trek from Chame to Pisang (3100m.) takes approximately 5 hours. With Lamjung Himal (6893m) gleaming within the morning sun, we will go off towards Pisang. The mountain disappears as we ascend the valley. Continuing through a fir and pine forest, rising to a high, rocky place because the opposite bank becomes an unclimbable drop, we reach the lower village of Pisang.

Day 09: Trek to Manang 3520m/11548) 6-7 hrs 

Trek from Pisang to Manang (3440m.) takes 5-7 hours. On the far side of Pisang, the path climbs a steep ridge that affords sensible views of the Manang valley and Tilicho peak (7145m.). Continuing on a downward slope past Manang to a landing strip at Hunger (3320m.), we reach a flat area from where the north-east face of Annapurna III rises majestically higher than you. Further, Sabje Khola valley also offers a beautiful view of Annapurna IV (7525m.). After a brief steep climb, we reach Manang.

Day 10: Adjustment day at Manang

It's the day for acclimatizing at Manang and explore in and around the city. There are non-mandatory day walks to a stream passage to envision the marvelous ice coming down from the Annapurna, or up above the village for a full landscape view of the Annapurna range and the Manang Valley.

Day 11: Trek to Yak Kharka (4110m/13484ft) 3-4 hrs 

After breakfast, the trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4350m.) takes approximately four hours. Currently, the path ascends gently through the Yak Kharka then passing through the Gunsang (3960m.) village. On the way, we have beautiful views all day.

Day 12: Trek to Thorong Phedi (4600m/15091ft) 3-4 hrs

After breakfast, the trek from the Thorang Phedi takes four hours. After leaving Thorang Phedi we ascend to a ridge before a downhill slope to the headquarters of the Marshyangd. After a brief ascent on the mountain path, we follow a narrow path across unbalanced binge rise then descend to Thorung Phedi. Overnight in Thorong Phedi.

 

Day 13: Trek to Muktinath (3800m/12467ft) via Thorong-La pass (5416m/17769) 7-8 hrs

After breakfast, we trek from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath via Thorong La (5416m.) Pass. The trail becomes steep straight away after leaving camp. The gradient then eases, and after about 4 hours of solid climbing, we reach the prayer flags of the pass. The trek downward to Muktinath is a knee thumping 1600m, but we have brilliant views of Dhaulagiri. Ultimately, the moraines grant way to verdant slopes before a pleasant walk along the Jhong Khola Valley to Muktinath. Overnight in Muktinath.

 

Day 14: Trek to Jomsom (2720m/8923ft) 5-6 hrs

After breakfast, we trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2410m), which demands five to six hours of walking. The trail ahead descends along with barren land. You can see the ranges as Dhampus peak, Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri. On the way to Kagbeni, you pass through Kali Gandaki banks, and much of the journey is windy.

Day 15: Flight to Pokhara 20min

Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara takes twenty-five minutes. During the flight, you enjoy the views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, e.t.c.

Overnight in Kathmandu.

 

Day 16: Drive to Kathmandu (1350m/4429) 7-8 hrs

After breakfast, we head to Kathmandu with all the good memories on this trip.
