What to expect ?

The pristine Tilicho lake, the highest lake in the world. Trek over the pass of 5416, the Thorung La Pass. Incredible views, amazing flora and fauna, Visit Muktinath, the place of Nirvana, Experience guide and helpful porter are provided, Accommodation, meals and all travel logistics are included.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport - (1360m.) 

On your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative from the airport will transfer you to the hotel. 

Overnight in Kathmandu.

 

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

If you wish to comprehend Nepal’s historical and cultural values, sightseeing in Kathmandu valley is crucial. Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal is a popular destination for tourists. This city offers a marvelous combination of mix religion of Hinduism, Buddhism and some imported culture. Kathmandu carries the cultural and religious legacy that can be found at temples, monuments, and artifacts. Patan and Bhaktapur are neighbor cities which reflects a similar legacy.


In the half-day tour, you will be guided to Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath stupa. Pashupatinath is a Hindu Shrine where people worship Lord Shiva whereas Boudhanath is the biggest stupa of Nepal.  And for the rest of the day, we will prepare for the trek. You can buy your missing equipment for your trek.

Day 03: - Drive Kathmandu to Dharapani (1960m/6430ft), (Lodging + B-L-D),

Our journey begins with a seven to eight hours drive from Kathmandu to Khudi on a serpentine road on the rural area of Nepal following Trishuli watercourse. On the manner, we will witness different terraced farms and delightful huts. From Dumre, we will leave the previous path and head north to Besisahar. Further drive from Besisahar on a rough road takes us to Dharapani, the preliminary spot of our trek.

Day 04: - Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2630m/8629ft) , (Lodging + B-L-D),

After breakfast, we will commence the trek from Dharapani through the associate abundant forest. Some climb results in sharp rock face facing the watercourse bank – Change comes into picturesque the fantastic read of lofty Annapurna mountain ranges. Further walk along the thick forest leads us to Chame.

Day 05: - Trek from Chame to Pisang (3210m/10531ft) , (Lodging + B-L-D),

Trek from Chame to Pisang (3100m.) takes concerning 5 hours. With Lamjung Himal (6893m) gleaming within the morning sun, you go off for Pisang. The mountain disappears as you descend up the vale. Then we continue through a fir and pine forest, rising to a high, rocky space as the opposite bank becomes unclimbable drop. Continuing on, we will return to an extended Mani wall by a bridge and therefore to the lower village of Pisang.

Day 06: - Trek from Pisang to Manang (3540m/11614ft) , (Lodging + B-L-D),

Trek from Pisang to Manang (3440m.) takes concerning 5 -6 hours. On the far side of Pisang, the path climbs a steep ridge that affords sensible views of the Manang vale and Tilicho peak (7145m.). Day 7: Acclimatization day at Manang (3520 M/11548ft), (Teahouse-Lodge + B-L-D),

It's the day for acclimatization at Manang and exploring in and around the city. Day 08: - Trek from Manang to Khangsar village (3734 m/12251ft), (Lodging + B-L-D),

After breakfast, we will hike down from old Manang through monasteries before we reach the Marsyangdi river and cross a suspension bridge over Jharsing river. It is possible to cross the ridge north of Annapurna IV, II, and Glacier Dome or to descend from village to the glacial lake at the foot of a huge icefall descending from the northern slopes of Gangapurna. The trail will stay close to the river bed and soon we will approach Khangsar where the superb view of the Great Barrier open up. We hike until we reach Khangsar.

Day 09: - Trek from Khangsar Village to Tilicho lake base camp (4150m/13615ft), (Lodging + B-L-D),

After breakfast, we will climbs the steeply trail past the Gompa and small monasteries through juniper and sea buckthorn bushes. The path is covered by small crystals and shrubs can be seen on both sides. Some places along the trail we will cross a few streams and finally reach the Tilicho Lake Base Camp.

Day 10: - Trek from Base camp to Tilicho Lake (4920m/16142ft) and trek back to base camp, (Lodging + B-L-D),

The trail to the Tilicho will start up a side valley then traverses onto a moraine, making a long climb to 4710m. There we can get the outstanding view of Marketing, Gangapurna and the Khangsar Kang. Tilicho Lake, the highest lake in the world at (4920m), presents a particularly dramatic spectacle. Sometimes its turquoise water reflects the surrounding peaks, but more often it is frozen solid. After spending the memorable time at Tilicho Lake, we will trek down to Tilicho base camp via the same way for an overnight stay.

Day 11: - Trek from Tilicho base camp to Yak Kharka (4000m/13123 ft), (Lodging + B-L-D),

We will hike early morning from Tilicho Base camp through the ups and downs hills before we pass through the Oak and rhododendron forest. We will continue our trek through Marsyangdi Valley. We can experience the excellent view of Annapurna III.

Day 12: - Trek from Yak Kharka to Phedi (4420m/14501 ft) , (Lodging + B-L-D)

After breakfast, a trek from the Thorong Phedi takes four hours. Going away Thorong Phedi, we will ascend more and more to a ridge before downward-sloping to the headquarters of the Marshyangdi. Once a brief get up the mountain path, follow a slim path across unbalanced binge rise then descend to Thorung Phedi.

Day 13: Early morning start the trek from Thorong Phedi all way to Muktinath (3800 M/12467ft) via Thorong-La Pass (5416 M/17769ft), 7-8 hours, (Teahouse-Lodge + B-L-D), 

After breakfast, we will trek from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath via Thorong La (5416m.) As we pass on, the trail becomes steep straight away on departure after camp. The gradient then eases, and after around 4 hours of solid climbing, we will reach the chorten and prayer flags of the pass. The trek downward to Muktinath is a knee thumping (1600m), we are rewarded with brilliant views of Dhaulagiri. Ultimately the moraines grant way to verdant slopes before a satisfying walk along the Jhong Khola Valley to Muktinath.

Day 14: - Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2713m/8901ft) via Kagbeni (2810m/9219ft) , (Lodging + B-L-D),

After breakfast, we will trek to Jomsom from Muktinath. On the way, we will pass some ancient caves and view the impressive white snow-capped mountains. The trail stroll among meadows, streams, poplar and fruit trees. Finally we will arrive Kagbeni a gateway to Upper Mustang. We trek until we reach Jomsom.

Day 15: - Jomsom to Pokhara, (Lodging + B-L-D),

After breakfast, take a flight to Pokhara from Jomsom which is a 25 minutes scenic flight.

Day 16: - Pokhara to Kathmandu, Take a 25 minutes flight or 6/7 hour Drive. , (Lodging + B-L-D),
