Ghale Gaun Homestay Trek

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport - (1360m.) 

On your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative from the airport will transfer you to the hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

If you wish to comprehend Nepal’s historical and cultural values, sightseeing in Kathmandu valley is crucial. Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal is a popular destination for tourists. This city offers a marvelous combination of mix religion of Hinduism, Buddhism and some imported culture. Kathmandu carries the cultural and religious legacy that can be found at temples, monuments, and artifacts. Patan and Bhaktapur are neighbor cities which reflects a similar legacy. In the half-day tour, you will be guided to Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath stupa. Pashupatinath is a Hindu Shrine where people worship Lord Shiva whereas Boudhanath is the biggest stupa of Nepal and for the rest of the day, we will prepare for the trek. You can buy your missing equipment for your trek.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Khudi (800 M/2624ft), 7- 8 hours, (Teahouse-Lodge + B-L-D),

Our journey begins with a seven to eight hours drive from Kathmandu to Khudi on a serpentine road on the rural area of Nepal following Trishuli watercourse. On the manner, we will witness different terraced farms and delightful huts. Once we reach the juncture at Mugling, we tend to move towards Pokhara. From Dumre, we will leave the previous path and head north to Besisahar. Further half an hour's drive from Besisahar takes us to Khudi, the preliminary spot of our trek. Khudi offers a primary glimpse of the dazzling Manaslu varies.

Day 04: Trek Khudi to Ghalegaun 1540m/5050ft 4-5 hrs Homestay

After breakfast, we will officially start our Honey hunting trek. On this day we will trek through the northwest of Khudi river's bank where we can see the fertile field, forest and beautiful waterfall along the way. After the short descend climb we will be at a beautiful village known as Ghalegaun, where we can find the well-maintained settlement of Gurung village with the originality in their culture and tradition.

Day 05: Ghalegaun village exploration day 1540m/5050ft 

This will be is our rest day where we can explore the village. We will wake up early in the morning for the stunning view of sunrise along with mountains and breakfast. As we experience the homely environment in Ghalegaun with Gurung family, we will explore the cultures, traditional lifestyle, religion of the villagers. We can engage in their daily activities to learn new things. After dinner, we will enjoy their cultural programs like traditional song and dance.

Day 06: Ghalegaun to Baglungpani 1600m/ 5248ft 4-5 hrs Homestay

After breakfast, we will start our trek to Gurung settlement Ghan Pokhara. We will pass through the lush land, a traditional small village along the Nepali windy way before we reach in Ghan Pokhara. After some rest, we will walk to Baglung Pani, 1600mtrs then we reach Baglung Pani.

Day 07: Baglungpani to Laxmi Bazar 1345m/ 4410ft 5-6 hrs Homestay

We will leave then beautiful village Baglung Pani and start trekking to the typical mix village of Laxmi Bazaar (1345mtrs) from sea level. It is a nice small bazaar in this area, where we will spend our night in the homely environment.

Day 08: Laxmi Bazaar and trek to Begnas Lake-Pokhara 830m/2720ft and 3 hrs walk and 1 hrs drive Lodge

After breakfast, we will start our regular hike for 3-4 hrs. This will be the last day of our trek. We will follow the route to Begnas lake so we do extra activities in this lake like boating. Then we will take a taxi from Begnas Lake to the hotel.

Day 09: Drive by tourist bus or fly out to Kathmandu 6-7 hrs and 30 min flight Hotel

After breakfast, we head for the Kathmandu memorizing the good memories in this trip.

Day 10: Departure
