SAFETY CONCERN and Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS)

Uncertain factors like changeable weather conditions, health condition of a group member, breakdown, possible strikes, unforeseen natural disasters etc can contribute slight changes in the given itinerary. Higher the altitude, lesser the oxygen in the air and our body constantly needs to adapt the less-oxygen environment as the trails ascend. Some of the quick symptoms include headache, loss of appetite, dizziness, vomiting, loss of balance etc and needed a swift attention. Drinking plenty of fluids (2-3 liters of water/hot fluid per day), avoiding caffeine & nicotine, adequate rest & sleep, gradual gain of elevation are basic things we consider to prevent altitude sickness. Safety is the major concern while organizing outdoor and adventure plans. During those circumstances, we try to ensure the best possible itinerary of the plan but we shall also request you to be bit flexible to run it smoothly.
