Tamang Heritage And Langtang Valley

About Trip:

Tamang Heritage and Langtang Valley is just an excellent choice for you to explore the cultural and traditional aspects of people in the Himalayan region along with a scenic walk through the gorgeous valley, beautiful terrains, and waterfalls and snow-capped mountain viewpoints. It is a perfect blend of culture and nature. Langtang area was severely affected by Earthquake 2015, yet the spirit of the region is still intact.

There are still some renovation and re-construction sites seen during the walk. Don’t miss a incredible walk through lush vegetation while passing charming villages and waterfalls towards the popular Langtang Valley to witness the grand view of Langtang range including Langtang Lirung (7234m), Langtang Ri (6427m), Naya Kanga (5844m), Dorje Lakpa (6966m), Gangchenpo (6387m), Yala Peak (5500m) and Tibetan range of mountains.

SAFETY CONCERN and Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS)

Uncertain factors like changeable weather conditions, health condition of a group member, breakdown, possible strikes, unforeseen natural disasters, etc can contribute slight changes in the given itinerary. Higher the altitude, the lesser the oxygen in the air and our body constantly need to adapt to the less-oxygen environment as the trails ascend. Some of the quick symptoms include headache, loss of appetite, dizziness, vomiting, loss of balance, etc and needed swift attention. Drinking plenty of fluids (2-3 liters of water/hot fluid per day), avoiding caffeine & nicotine, adequate rest & sleep, a gradual gain of elevation are basic things we consider to prevent altitude sickness. Safety is a major concern while organizing outdoor and adventure plans. During those circumstances, we try to ensure the best possible itinerary of the plan but we shall also request you to be a bit flexible to run it smoothly.
