Since it's a Heli trekking so, travelers can experience the hike around the Gokyo Lake and discover the majestic beauty of Gokyo valley and return on a Heli flight to Kathmandu. Gokyo valley trekking is also a part of the extended trek to the Everest region, which has created buzzing popularity of this trek route among trekkers. Trekking in Gokyo valley takes you as far up to Gokyo Ri, which offers a dynamic sunset view from the Himalayas. We Digging towards the rays, where the sunset provides from the Himalayas, gives every trekker a moment to remember. Extending the Gokyo trek can take you towards the Everest Base Camp region, which is the most beneficial aspect of this trekking.


Similarly, trek along the destination takes you to Sherpa village, Namche bazaar, Dole, Machhermo, and many curvy corridors. Namche Bazaar is a small economic village in the Khumbu region, where you can find many hotels, lodges, restaurants, Tibetan shops and many more. Moreover, Namche Bazaar is home to Sherpa peoples, who are the king of mountains. You will get a warm reception from Sherpa with their traditional ritual, which symbolizes Tibetan heritages. Gokyo valley offers mesmerizing sightseeing of snow-capped mountains, Himalayan corridors, Gokyo lakes, Sunset view from Gokyo Ri, Sherpa village, monasteries, and many glorious treasures. In Gokyo valley, there are more than six freshwater lakes, and most of them have a great religious significance. Gokyo lake is a sacred pilgrimage for both Hindus and Buddhists, so every year pilgrims across many nationalities arrive here. Pilgrims worship the Gokyo lake site as an existing point of Snake god (i.e., Nag Devta).


Similarly, there is a holy temple of Lord Shiva and Vishnu at the western edge of Gokyo Lake. Trekkers will benefit from a relaxed Heli ride while returning directly from the top hills of Gokyo valley to Kathmandu. Our Goyo Lake Heli Trek starts with a sightseeing of heritage areas in Kathmandu city. After this, you will enjoy a fabulous mountain flight while landing at Lukla airport. So, from Lukla airport, our Gokyo Lake trek kicks off along the ascending and descending Himalayan corridors. We will encounter colorful forests of rhododendron, pine, & birch, Sherpa settlements, mountain views, along the trail. Upon reaching the Gokyo lake, you will enjoy the spectacular scenarios, mountain views, and experience the grace of mother nature.


Furthermore, we will climb towards the Gokyo Ri as an ultimate hike route of this trip. After, this we will take a Heli flight while returning downhills and towards Kathmandu. Heli ride while returning will save your time and energy. Moreover, it offers an eagle-eye view of all the hidden mountain treasures.

Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu arrival (1300m)

Our representative will get you at the airport and transfer you towards the Hotel via private vehicle. We will give a brief detail about the trekking preparation. Overnight stay at the Hotel, 


Day 2: Kathmandu city Sightseeing: Trek Preparation

With breakfast in the morning session, we will start our Kathmandu sightseeing, with a historic trip to Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath. After the half-day tour, we will return to the hotel and prepare for the Gokyo trek. You can buy trekking accessories which are missing. Overnight at Hotel,


Day 3: Heli Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,651 m/8,700 ft), 3-4 Hours

We will be having breakfast in the morning and head towards Kathmandu airport for a flight to Lukla. Flight to Lukla offers a majestic view of mountain peaks, glorious landscapes, and hilltops. After reaching Lukla airport, we will assemble for a trek to Phakding. Trekking towards Phakding offers fabulous trails of Cheplung village, snow-capped views of Mt. Khumbila and many Tibetan influences. Along the curvy trails ascending and descending, we reach Phakding. It offers a scenic view of the famous mountain like Mt. Kusum Kanguru along the path. Furthermore, you can observe many such snowy peaks in this route. Phakding is a beautiful small village which has good lodging, food facilities. Thus, we will stay overnight at Phakding,   


Day 4: Phakding to Namche bazaar (3440m/11,283 ft) 5-6 Hours:

We start our day from Phakding and trek along the rocky trails with tremendous sight views. Along the track, we cross few suspension bridges and enjoy the electrifying flow of the Dudh Koshi river. We reach the Sherpa settlements and have some interaction with them. Crossing the trails of Benkar, Monjo, Jorsalle, etc. we enter the Sagarmatha National Park area. You will require the entry permit before entering the national park area, and from here, our next destination would be Namche Bazaar. We can find many Sherpa settlements in Namche Bazaar, which has many hotels, lodges for overnight stay. So, viewing the closest glimpse of Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, etc. we will stay overnight at Namche.


Day 5: Acclimatization Day: Explore around Namche Bazaar

We will enjoy our rest day at Namche Bazaar, exploring nearby Sherpa communities, schools, monasteries, hilltops, and mountain views. Fabulous view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Lhotse, can be seen from Namche bazaar. In addition to this, we will explore Sherpa Museums, Sagarmatha National Park areas, etc. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.


Day 6: Trekking to Dole (4200 m/13779 ft), 5-6 Hours,

Our day 6 begins with an uphill trek from Namche Bazaar towards Kyangjuma, which offers breathtaking mountain views. So, from Kyangjuma, we head towards Sansasa Village along with the memorizing view of colorful rhododendron forest. Furthermore, our trail continues with rocky trails towards Mongla pass before reaching the bank of Dudh Koshi. So, from Dudh Koshi, we hike along with the colorful forests towards Dole. Overnight stay at Dole,


Day 7: Trek to Machhermo (4470 m/ 14665 ft), 4-5 Hrs,

We resume this day from Dole along the ascending and descending rocky trails, which offers magnificent mountain views, hard rocks, and few human settlements. The highlight of this day is Ngozumpa glacier, which compasses via curvy Himalayan trails.

Furthermore, this track takes us towards Machhermo. Overnight stay at Machhermo,


Day 8: Trek to Gokyo (4790 m/ 15715 ft), 4-5 Hrs,

Trekking begins with uphill climbing and close pass of rocky mountains, which adds another excitement in our trip. After crossing the suspension bridge the reach the Gokyo lake area. Gokyo lake comprises of six majestic Himalayan lakes and glaciers. We enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of lakes and glaciers on the turf of Himalayas. Gokyo lakeside has several lodges and restaurants, where we will stay overnight.


Day 9: Enjoy Gokyo Lake and Hike up to the Gokyo Ri for Sunset view:

This day is the most awaiting day of our trek, where we will explore the beauty of the Gokyo valley along with the vision of Gokyo Lake. You can store the majestic beauty of Gokyo lake in your long term memory. We capture scenic photographs of Gokyo lake and the whole valley. In addition to this, we will hike along the uphills towards Gokyo Ri to experience the dramatic sunset view and close scenes of Gokyo Lakes. Overnight stay at Lodge in Gokyo Lakeside.


Day 10: Helifly back to Kathmandu:

So, on this day we will explore some missing places near Gokyo Lake and take a Heliflight and return to Kathmandu. Heliflight to Kathmandu via Gokyo offers a close view of several snow-capped mountains, Himalayan trails, forest ranges, hidden valley and many more. You will get a farewell dinner at typical Nepali cuisine in Kathmandu. Overnight stay at Hotel,


Day 11: Departure:

Timely drop to the airport via private vehicle for your onward destination. End of Gokyo Lake Helicopter trek,
