On this tour, you will travel back in time to discover an unknown side of Barcelona through the eyes of Picasso, the most famous painter of the 20th century.The city he fell in love with when he was just a teenager is still alive in his world-famous paintings and in Barcelona’s hidden lanes we will bike through. Through stories told by your local guide, you will travel back in time and experience an unknown side of this vibrant city. We will get on the eBikes and stroll around the alleys of the Gothic Quarter and Born area. The tour then passes through the exotic 19th-century Ciutadella Park from where we will bike straight to Barcelona beach, where you can appreciate the horizons and skyline of the city with the sea at your feet. As the beaches curve away to the north and south, the castle atop Montjuïc is a real jewel. We then cycle along bike lanes under palm trees, passing by the old port and then back to the Gothic Quarter. On this tour, you will discover the hidden faces of the city and get to know the events that have marked the history of Barcelona in the past centuries. A city that has survived wars and many invasions before it has now become one of Europe’s most popular destinations.
