Itinerary

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh – Arrival (-/-/-)

Your flight arrives at Ho Chi Minh (formerly named Saigon), pick up at the airport and transfer to hotel for check-in hotel. The rest time for free time at leisure.

Day 2: Saigon City tour (B/-/-)

Today, visit Reunification Palace which formerly was Independence palace of the South Vietnamese President, War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post Office and Thien Hau Pagoda.

Day 3: Saigon – Cu Chi – Saigon (B/-/-)

Morning start with Cu Chi Tunnels which were never discovered by American Force. These tunnels are stretching over 200 km and were important Viet Cong base during the American War. This underground network, dug by hand connected command posts hospital shelter and weapon factories. Afternoon, free time for shopping at Ben Thanh market.

Day 4: Saigon – Mekong Delta (B/-/-)

Transfer to the outskirt of Saigon and begins the tour on the beautiful countryside road.

Start at Tourist Boat Station (My Tho), cruising on the Tien (Mekong) river and seeing four islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, Phoenix. Enjoy fresh coconut juice. Visit the fish floating market and Fish-craft village along Tien River. Stop at Thoi Son Island, go walking around the countryside road, seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits and listen to traditional music. Take a rowing boat on a small canal with beautiful scenery of the countryside, to visit honey-bee farm and enjoy honey-tea. Stop at Phoenix Island to visit Coconut Monk Temple and Crocodile-pond. Driver back to Saigon.

Day 5: Saigon – Flight to Hanoi (B/-/-)

Today, free time at leisure until to transfer to the airport for flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival at Noi Bai international airport, meet up our guide then transfer to Hanoi for check-in (After 14h00). The rest of the day for free time at your leisure.

Day 6: Hanoi City Tour (B/-/-)

Morning, visit the Ho Chi Minh complex (included: Ho Chi Minh mausoleum (closed on Monday & Friday morning, every afternoon), Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House and the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Museum and the One Pillar Pagoda). Then continue on to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam, see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 - it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Afternoon, transfer to visit Hanoi's Ethnology Museum (closed on Monday) and its fascinating exhibitions about the diverse hill tribes in Vietnam. Take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple. Then take a short time walking around Hanoi Old Quarter for sightseeing, shopping.

Day 7: Hanoi – Halong Cruise (B/L/D)

We will transfer to Halong Bay through the scenic countryside. Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. Heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay. This exciting cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way, we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs.

Day 8: Halong – Hanoi (Brunch/-)

Waking up and having breakfast served onboard. Continue cruising around the bay. Take sampan to visit the cave and come back to the boat. Having brunch before disembarking and van will pick you up at the pier and transfer back to Hanoi.

Enjoy Water puppet show – a traditional performance of Vietnamese people.

Day 9: Hanoi – flight to Siem Reap (B/-/-)

Free at your own leisure time until transfer to the airport for your departure flight to Siem Reap.

Upon arrival to Siem Reap, pick up and transfer to hotel for check-in and relax time.

Day 10: Siem Reap Angkor Complex (B/-/-)

Breakfast at hotel: Start your sightseeing tour of Angkor area we spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards, and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple and the jungle-covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.

Day 11: Siem Reap Tour – Tonle Sap Lake (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. We take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. We spend the rest of the time visiting the "Chantiers Ecoles - Les Artisans d'Angkor" which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. We will drive to the Pouk district about 15 Km in the West of Siem Reap town you visit the silk farm, a fascinating farm/workshop where you can see the entire silk creation process including growing the food for the silkworms, breeding the worms, silk extraction, and refinement, traditional kit dying pattern creation and looming. Retail silk and souvenir shop. On the way back, visit the Western Baray (Baray Occidental) measuring 8 km by 2.3 km which provided water for the intensive cultivation of lands around Angkor.

Day 12: Siem Reap – Departure (B/-/-)

Breakfast at hotel and free at your own leisure time until transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
